Fees for Respite Care Weekends

A registration fee of $250 is requested and will be applied to the total cost. Fees, ranging from $375 to $635 for the entire weekend, are based on the level of supervision and care needed, living situation, and eligibility for county contract respite funding for the individual.

Fees can be pro-rated if the person will not be attending the entire weekend. Please indicate the length of stay on the application form or by contacting the office directly.

Cancellations and Refunds for Respite Care Weekends

• A full refund will be given if our office receives notice 15 days prior to the applicant’s session.
• A partial refund will be given if our office receives notice less than 15 days prior to the applicant’s session. (All fees refunded except the $250 registration fee.)
• If an applicant cancels less than 15 days prior to the session, and has not paid the $250 registration fee, they will be billed for that amount.

Note to Parents/Caregivers: Children and adults who are eligible for county funds, or CADI, TBI, consumer directed MR/RC or DD waiver funds for respite care, please contact our office for additional information of how these funds can be utilized for respite weekend fees.

Other important information regarding respite care
If your application is accepted, a confirmation packet will be sent to you.  Enclosed in the packet will be a letter confirming respite weekends and dates, information concerning check-in and check-out procedures and times, clothing lists, a map with directions, a physical examination form*, and a physician's standing order form. * The physical examination form must have been completed no more than 24 months prior to attendance for all respite participants.
