"Thank
you for the best two summers of my life. I am now working at a children's
nursing home in Illinois for kids with severe to profound handicaps. I
love my job and I am excited each day I go to work. There are so many
nursing jobs in the world, having never come to camp, I wouldn't have
envisioned myself where I am today."
Erica
Kelley
Nurse, Camp Friendship Graduate, Rockford College, Rockford, IL
"Camp was a great experience. I gained greater
understanding of people with disabilities and how very much they enjoy
life."
Sylvia Pickard
Nurse, Eden Wood Center Instructor, South Dakota State University College
