All trips begin with an overnight stay at Camp Friendship, where participants learn how to pack camping gear, set up tents, build a fire and cook over it. Participants leave the next morning to set up base camp. An itinerary will be provided two weeks before the trip.

Individuals who demonstrate proper social behavior and are free of major medical considerations are encouraged to participate.  All participants are screened to determine suitability for trips.
