Creative Options Weekend Respite Care

While traditional camp sessions provide respite during the weeks they are occuring, Friendship Ventures also makes respite available on weekends throughout the year at Camp Friendship and Eden Wood Center. Siblings and friends are welcome to attend.

Programs typically begin Friday evening and end late Sunday afternoon. Participants may stay for all or part of a weekend; fees are prorated based on length of stay.

While participants are enjoying outdoor and other recreational activities, relaxing and having fun, their families and care providers are free to enjoy a break from the daily demands of caring for a person with developmental disabilities.
